The CITY Futures brand encompasses a number of community programs intended to promote soccer in the region, make soccer accessible to all in St. Louis, and help invest in the community through soccer.
Get ready to learn the basics of soccer and have fun along the way! CITY SC provides free, youth training programs and opportunities that are accessible and inclusive to ALL kids in the St. Louis region.
Kickstart Sessions are free clinics that introduce kids ages 5-12 to the beautiful game of soccer. CITY SC Community Coaches will be on hand to teach soccer skills in a fun and educational setting.
The Play On program, presented by BJC HealthCare, offers free soccer training for children ages 7-12 at five locations throughout the region. Children of all skill levels can participate in the program, which includes social and emotional learning along with technical and tactical principles of soccer. All participants receive a CITY Futures jersey and are eligible to play in the CITY Cup tournament for that season. Seasons are Fall (12 weeks), Winter (8 weeks), and Spring (12 weeks).
The St. Louis CITY Cup, presented by World Wide Technology, is an inclusive, fun tournament hosted three times a year at the end of each Play On season. The tournament is unique in that children play on teams with players from the other 4 regions, bringing kids from different parts of St. Louis together for a fun, one-day event. Players who participate in the Play On program are eligible for the CITY Cup.
The Play On Plus teams are made up of players (U11, U13) chosen from the five Play On regional training locations. The best players are selected by coaches to receive additional training and competitive opportunities, with the potential of exposure to St. Louis CITY youth academy coaches. This program is by invitation only.
Together with Missouri Youth Soccer Association we aim to provide coaching education to support coaches throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
