CITY Pay Cashback Program Terms and Conditions
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE CITY PAY CASHBACK PROGRAM, USERS AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. IF USERS DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, THEY SHOULD NOT ACCESS OR PARTICIPATE IN THE CITY PAY CASHBACK PROGRAM.
Users agree that St. Louis CITY SC may provide updates, notices, disclosures and amendments to these Terms and Conditions, and other information relating to the CITY Pay Cashback Program by electronic means, including the CITY app, email, other channels, or posting such information and materials online at www.stlcitysc.com.
Notice: CITY Pay Cashback Program terms and conditions may change at any time at the discretion of St. Louis CITY SC.
Definitions
CITY Cash: A virtual currency reward in a closed-loop system, which can only be earned and used for purchasing merchandise and food & beverages items at Eligible Locations (defined below).
CITY Pay: A payment feature in the official St. Louis CITY SC app (“CITY app”) used to make purchases of merchandise and food & beverage items at Eligible Locations.
CITY Pay Cashback Program: A rewards program that grants users CITY Cash when they use CITY Pay to make purchases through the CITY app.
Eligible Locations: Official St. Louis CITY SC team stores, including CITY Pavilion, CITY Goods, CITY retail outposts, and food and beverage vendors at CITYPARK.
Users: New and existing CITY app users.
1. Eligibility and Participation
The CITY Pay Cashback Program (“Program”) is available to all Users. Users must be 13 years of age or older to sign up for the CITY app and Users between the ages of 13 and 18 may only access and participate in the Program under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. St. Louis CITY SC reserves the right to remove a User’s ability to participate in the Program at any time and for any reason without prior notice.
2. Account Requirements
To earn and use CITY Cash, Users must have a registered account with the CITY app. CITY Cash is non-transferable and may only be used by the User who earned the CITY Cash.
3. Earning CITY Cash
CITY Cash is earned by Users with respect to purchases at Eligible Locations within the CITY app and paid for with a credit or debit card, either partially or in full. CITY Cash is only earned on the part of the purchase paid for with a credit or debit card (i.e., CITY Cash may not be earned on purchases made with CITY Cash or ticket voucher funds). No minimum purchase amount is required to earn CITY Cash. CITY Cash cannot be earned on purchases fully paid for with CITY Cash or ticket voucher funds.
4. Earning Rates
When CITY Pay is used for purchases, 5% of the amount of the purchase, including tax and tip, paid by with a credit or debit card will be rewarded as CITY Cash to the User, and may be viewable in the CITY Pay Wallet via the CITY app.
The rate amount in which Users earn CITY Cash on per purchase may change at any time, at the discretion of St. Louis CITY SC.
5. Usage and Redemption
To redeem earned CITY Cash, Users may use CITY Pay in the CITY app on purchases to pay a portion or full amount of a purchase, depending on the amount of CITY Cash earned prior to the purchase.
There is no limit on the amount of CITY Cash that can be redeemed in a single purchase. CITY Cash can be combined with other promotions or discounts. No minimum purchase amount is required to redeem CITY Cash. CITY Cash may only be redeemed for merchandise and food & beverages at Eligible Locations.
6. Expiration and Forfeiture
CITY Cash earned during the period beginning with the first home match of a season until the first home match of the following season expires before the first home match of the following season. The exact expiration date is subject to change at the discretion of St. Louis CITY SC and will be communicated through the CITY app, email, or other channels as deemed appropriate. If a User’s CITY app account is deactivated or closed and the User subsequently opens a new CITY app account, such User’s CITY Cash balance may be reinstated at the discretion of St. Louis CITY SC. Notwithstanding the foregoing, for the initial launch in October 2024, CITY Cash earned before the first home match of 2026 will expire in February 2026.
7. Changes to the Program
St. Louis CITY SC reserves the right to modify the earning rate, redemption options, or any other aspect of the Program at any time without prior notice. St. Louis CITY SC may notify Users of significant changes via the CITY app, email, or other channels, though changes may take effect immediately.
8. Fraud and Misuse
Any attempt to manipulate the Program, gain unauthorized CITY Cash, or engage in fraudulent activity will result in disciplinary actions at the discretion of St. Louis CITY SC. These actions may include deactivation of the User’s CITY app account, revocation of CITY Cash balances, or permanent disqualification from the Program. St. Louis CITY SC reserves the right to report illegal activities to the appropriate authorities.
9. Data and Privacy
St. Louis CITY SC encrypts all purchases for User privacy and utilizes third-party partners to manage balance tracking and history. By participating in the Program, Users agree to the processing of their data as described in the MLS Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
St. Louis CITY SC is not liable for errors, outages, or other issues that may prevent the earning or redemption of CITY Cash. Users may contact appsupport@stlcitysc.com for assistance with issues related to CITY Cash.
11. Termination of the Program
St. Louis CITY SC may terminate the Program at any time and for any or no reason. A grace period for the redemption of any remaining CITY Cash may be provided at the discretion of St. Louis CITY SC.
12. Communication
St. Louis CITY SC may communicate Program updates, changes, and other relevant information through CITY app, email, or other channels. Users may opt out of marketing communications, but not operational notifications related to the Program.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The Program is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes arising from or related to the Program shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Missouri courts.
14. Third-Party Involvement
St. Louis CITY SC partners with third-party vendors to manage the earning, rewarding, and tracking of CITY Cash. These third parties are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of CITY Cash balances and purchase histories.
15. Force Majeure
St. Louis CITY SC is not responsible for any loss of CITY Cash balances or delays in Program operations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
16. Prohibited Uses
CITY Cash cannot be converted into legal tender, resold, traded, or used for unauthorized or illegal purchases. CITY Cash may only be spent at St. Louis CITY SC Eligible Locations. Unauthorized use may result in disqualification from the Program indefinitely, and illegal activities may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
17. Refunds
In the event of a dispute or return, CITY Cash used for merchandise purchased at Eligible Locations may be credited back to the User’s account. Refunds for CITY Cash are not guaranteed and will be reviewed by St. Louis CITY SC on a case-by-case basis. Purchases made with CITY Cash that expires after the purchase date but before the refund request will not be eligible for a CITY Cash refund. Food and beverage purchases are not eligible for any CITY Cash refunds.
