The CITY app now offers new location-based functionality allowing our fans to check in to Energizer Park! Check in for a chance to win unique experiences, matchday upgrades, and so much more!
Step 1
Open the CITY app and tap the Matchday Guide tile on the Home tab
Step 2
Tell us you are "Going" to the stadium for the match in the Matchday Guide and then tap "Check-In at Energizer Park" once you are at or outside Energizer Park in Lou Fusz Plaza.
Step 3
The CITY app requires location and push notification permissions to know you are at the stadium. Be sure to allow these features if you would like to participate in the Check-In feature.
Step 4
Tap "CHECK-IN".
Step 5
That's it! You are checked in, welcome to Energizer Park!
How do I check into Energizer Park on matchday?
There are two ways you can check in. First make sure you are at the stadium:
- Open the CITY app, tap the Matchday Guide tile on the Home tab and make sure you are "Going" to the match. Tap the "Check-In at Energizer Park" button and provide location and push notification permission access for your device. You should now be able to check in at Energizer Park.
- Open the CITY app, tap the "Menu" tab at the bottom right of the screen. Tap "Check-Ins" at the top. Provide location and push notification permission access for your device. You should now be able to check in at Energizer Park.
What happens if I don't see the ability to check in in the St. Louis CITY SC app?
Please make sure you have the latest St. Louis CITY SC app versions downloaded from the app store. You will need to have at least version 1.2.4 to participate in Check-In. If you have updated your app version to the above, and still are unable to check in, please send us an email at appsupport@stlcitysc.com.
Why would I check in?
We would like to reward our fans for checking in to our locations, like Energizer Park. The stadium is just the start – more locations coming soon!
How do I know if I won a reward or upgraded CITY experience by participating in Check-In?
We will reach out via email or phone number (if we have it) and provide additional, timely, instructions.
What locations can I check in to?
Our fans can currently only check into Energizer Park on matchdays. We will communicate with our fans once we have more locations to check into.
Why do I need to give location permissions on my device to check in?
We require location permissions on devices to be able to tell when our fans are at the locations we have set up for Check-In. Fans that do not give location permissions will not be able to check in.
Does St. Louis CITY SC track my location in the background or when the St. Louis CITY SC app is closed?
We do not track location in the background or when the app is closed. We only track location when the app is open and in the foreground/in-focus on your device.
Why do I need to give push notification permissions to check in?
We require push notification permissions on devices to communicate with our fans when they are near or in a location.
Am I required to participate in Check-In?
Our fans are not required to participate in Check-In, but if fans would like to receive Check-In specific rewards, they will need to participate.
