St Louis CITY2 wins 4-3 at CITYPARK vs LAFC2. The Black and Gold would begin the first half with a goal in the 18th minute, but St Louis would respond with a wonder strike from Matteo Kidd who made his CITY2 debut with the start. It was Kidd’s first goal as a CITY2 player. Then, in the second half, Mykhi Joyner scored from the penalty spot to make the score 2-1. Brendan McSorley earned his third goal of the season off a corner kick. Mykhi Joyner would score another penalty marking his first professional brace. CITY2 will return to action on Saturday, July 21st versus Sporting Kansas City II at Rock Chalk Park.
