St Louis CITY2 will look to extend their four-game unbeaten streak as they face Colorado Rapids 2 on Sunday, April 6 at 4:00 p.m. CT at Energizer Park. The match will be streamed on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.

March was an extraordinary month for CITY2 as they set a new club record by going undefeated through their first four games of the season. It was also the first time that the team earned four consecutive shutouts to start a season. CITY2 was rewarded for their efforts, being named Team of Matchweek 3 and Team of the Month for March by MLS NEXT Pro. Individually, captain Gabriel Mikina earned Goal of Matchweek 3 honors for his curling strike against Sporting KC II on March 23. David Critchley was named Coach of the Month for March and Colin Welsh earned Goalkeeper of the Month honors as well.

Last Sunday, St Louis faced Austin FC II, with the match ending in a 0-0 draw. Following regulation, CITY2 won 5-4 on penalty kicks, with Matteo Kidd scoring the game-winner and Nick Bishop saving the final kick from Austin. The penalty shootout was Bishop’s second career shootout victory and third career clean sheet. CITY2 sits atop of the MLS NEXT Pro overall standings with 11 points after four games.

This weekend's match will be the first of three meetings between CITY2 and Colorado Rapids 2. Colorado has played in two games so far this season, picking up one point. Rapids 2 began the season on the road against Austin FC II, losing 4-2. They then faced Real Monarchs away, drawing 2-2 before falling on penalty kicks. St Louis CITY2 is 2-2-3 all-time against Colorado, having earned two three-goal victories against Rapids 2 last season.
