St Louis CITY2 earned their fourth consecutive shutout tying Austin FC II 0-0 in regulation before securing a 5-4 victory in a penalty shootout on Sunday night at Energizer Park. Play between CITY2 and Austin FC II was back and forth after a tight first and second half. In the penalty shootout following regulation, Matteo Kidd scored the winning penalty and Nick Bishop ultimately saved Austin’s final kick. St Louis CITY2 will close out their homestand next Sunday, April 6 at 4:00 p.m. CT, against Colorado Rapids 2.
