St Louis CITY2 suffered a 3-2 defeat to Ventura County FC at CITYPARK. St Louis struck first with a goal from Matteo Kidd, which was his third goal in the last four matches. However, Ventura County responded with a goal in the 33rd minute before closing out the first half. Oscar Benitez opened the second half with his second consecutive goal off a set piece. VCFC later scored two second half goals to earn the three points. CITY2 will travel to SaberCats Stadium to face Houston Dynamo Dos on August 11.
