St Louis CITY2 picked up their third consecutive win and shutout with a 2-0 win against Sporting Kansas City II on Sunday night at Energizer Park. Mykhi Joyner opened the scoring in the 12th minute from the penalty spot, earning his second consecutive goal. CITY2 maintained the lead through the first half and kept the pressure on SKC throughout the second half. Gabriel Mikina tallied his first goal of the season in the 85th minute with a curling shot to secure another three points for CITY2. St Louis will return to Energizer Park to face Austin FC II at 4:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, March 30.
