ST. LOUIS, MO (April 7, 2024) - St Louis CITY2 pushed its unbeaten run to three consecutive matches with a 1-1 draw against Portland Timbers2. Forward Brendan McSorley found the back of the net for the first time this season to put CITY2 ahead in the 20th minute, but Portland responded with a goal in the 72nd minute to bring the teams even. In the penalty shootouts following the match, CITY2 converted on all five of its attempts, edging the away side for the additional point.
