St. Louis CITY SC fell 4-1 to Colorado Rapids at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Sunday night. The Rapids opened the scoring in the 6th minute, but CITY SC responded in the 12th minute through John Klein, who scored his first career MLS goal. Jay Reid, who recently signed a first team contract with the club from CITY2, earned his second career MLS assist on Klein’s goal. Colorado scored three goals to pick up the victory. St. Louis will return to CITYPARK on Saturday night to face Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
