St. Louis CITY SC’s U-15, U-16 and U-17 teams will travel to Arizona to compete in this season’s MLS NEXT Fest. The event will go from Tuesday, December 5 to Friday, December 10 at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix, Arizona.
MLS NEXT Fest is the largest event in the 2023-24 season, as over 300 teams from the United States and Canada will compete in the MLS NEXT Fest Showcase across four different age groups. The six-day event is one of the most attended by college, national team and professional scouts/coaches during the entire MLS NEXT season as more than 800 matches will be played in a single location.
The U-15, U-16 and U-17 teams enter MLS NEXT Fest having enjoyed ample success through the first halves of their respective seasons. The U-15 and U-17 teams have each played thirteen matches so far, with the U-15s posting a 6-7-0 record with a plus-11 goal difference and the U-17s going 9-2-2 with a plus-18 goal difference. Meanwhile, the U-16s, who played fourteen matches in the first half of their season, went 12-1-2 with a plus-49 goal difference. Combined, the U-15s, U-16s and U-17s have scored 137 goals.
