St. Louis CITY SC Academy defender Emiliano Chavez has been called up to the latest U.S. U-16 MYNT Domestic Camp. The camp will take place in West Palm Beach, Florida, and run from April 14 to April 19.
“Emi has been very consistent this season, and we could not be more thrilled about him receiving this recognition for his hard work,” said Dale Schilly, St. Louis CITY SC Academy Director. “We know the opportunity will help him continue to grow as a player and person, and we hope to continue helping players reach these milestones in the future.”
Chavez’s first-ever call-up to the MYNT comes amidst an impressive Academy season for the defender. Featuring for the St. Louis CITY SC Academy U-17s, he has tallied one goal and three assists during the regular season. Chavez is the sixth CITY SC Academy product to receive a national team call-up in the club’s young history, joining Caden Glover, Miguel Perez, Tyson Pearce, Fritz Volmar and Aaron Heard.
