After halftime, Mykhi Joyner scored his fifteenth goal of the season to even the score at 1-1. Matteo Kidd earned his second assist of the season on the goal. CITY2 found the net again in the 69th minute with a goal from Brendan McSorley that was assisted by a Mykhi Joyner corner kick. MNUFC2 tied the match at 2-2 right before second half stoppage time. In the penalty shootout following regulation, Minnesota won 4-2 to earn the extra point. St Louis CITY2 will head out west to face The Town FC on Sunday, September 22.
