At 11:30AM, gates open at Energizer Park and Mobile Order Ahead starts in the CITY App. Get down early to enjoy lunch from one (or two) of our 25+ local food partners and remember to “check-in” with the CITY App! This Sunday, the first 10,000 fans will also receive the official 2025 Team Poster courtesy of our friends at UMSL.

3:30-4:30PM Intermission Between CITY and CITY2 Match
After the final whistle of the first team match, plan to stay for the CITY2 match! The upper concourse will close and all fans staying for CITY2 will be ushered into general admission seating on the lower concourse. No stadium re-entry will be allowed. Enjoy family-friendly fun between the matches including an opportunity to meet & greet some first team players, grab a bite to eat & shop at CITY Goods.

A Look at the Last Match

St. Louis CITY SC faced their first defeat of the season last weekend, falling 1-0 to Philadelphia Union. The only goal of the match came in the eighth minute when Ian Glavinovich converted off a corner kick. Despite the loss, St. Louis goalkeeper Ben Lundt delivered an impressive performance, setting an MLS career high with eight saves. This defeat marked the first time in club history that CITY SC lost one of its first five games in a season. Prior to this match, St. Louis boasted a remarkable 8-0-6 record in the first five games of any season. Additionally, CITY SC also became just the fifth team in MLS history to concede only one goal through their first five matches.

St. Louis CITY SC vs Austin FC

Sunday’s matchup will be the first of two encounters between St. Louis CITY SC and Austin FC this season. CITY SC has been dominant in the series, holding a 3-0-1 all-time record against Austin, scoring a total of 12 goals across the four meetings. Last season, St. Louis and Austin played to a draw in March before CITY SC secured a 1-0 victory in April, with João Klauss netting the game’s only goal. Going back to their inaugural season, CITY SC won their first-ever MLS match against Austin 3-2, and just a few months later in August 2023, they delivered a dominant 6-3 victory at home. St. Louis has won both of its previous home games against Austin by a combined score of 7-1.

Scouting Austin FC

Austin comes into Sunday’s match on a two-game win streak, having most recently defeated LAFC 1-0 on the road and San Diego FC 2-1 at home. The Verde and Black have seen contributions from four different players, each scoring one goal, while conceding just three goals so far this season. On the road, Austin holds a 1-1-0 record, while at home, they’ve been solid with a 2-1-0 mark at Q2 Stadium. Austin’s Homegrown Player Owen Wolff has provided the game-winning assist in each of the club’s three victories so far.
