St. Louis CITY SC’s U-14, U-15, U-16 and U-19 academy teams again went undefeated over the weekend. The U-14s kicked off the weekend with a 5-1 win against SC Wave and followed that up with an 8-1 over Bavarian United SC. The U-15s tied 1-1 with SC Wave but turned things around on Sunday with a strong 11-0 win against Bavarian United SC. Both the U-16s and U-19s faced Columbus Crew as both teams tied 1-1 and 2-2 respectively.
U-14s score thirteen goals combined against SC Wave and Bavarian United SC
The U-14s started the weekend against SC Wave and notched five goals to earn the 5-1 win. Tucker Burns scored a brace and Ismail Ahmetspahic, Charles Thomson, and Kayden Shaw added to the scoresheet. On Sunday, the U-14s earned a strong 8-1 against Bavarian United SC as Vedad Kovac earned a hattrick and Charles Thomson, Quinn Bowman, Ismail Ahmetspahic, and Tucker Burns scored.
U-15s earn 11-0 shutout against Bavarian United SC
The U-15s tied SC Wave on Saturday afternoon as Kane Krauss scored the lone goal. Things turned around on Sunday, as the team earned a 11-0 shutout against Bavarian United SC. Eddie Niles scored four goals, Caleb Conlon, Jonah Chisholm, and Blake Wilson earned braces. Miroslav Lekivsky added to the scoresheet as well. Ryan Cloninger picked up the shutout.
U-16s tie 1-1 against Columbus Crew
The only game of the weekend for the U-16s was against Columbus Crew. The team tied 1-1 and Jack Hennessy scored the lone goal.
U-19s pick up draw versus Columbus Crew
The U-19s boys tied 2-2 against Columbus Crew as Jack DiMaria and Carson Locker scored for CITY SC.
What’s Next?
All four of CITY SC’s academy teams will host Hoosier Premier on Saturday, November 16 for the first matchup between the teams this season.
