All four academy teams were in action this past weekend as they faced Hoosier Premier and Lou Fusz Athletic and went undefeated. The U-14s kicked things off against Hoosier Premier and won 1-0, the U-15s tied 0-0, the U-16s won 4-1, and the U-19s tied 3-3. On Sunday, the U-14s earned a second consecutive shutout against Lou Fusz Athletic winning 5-0, the U-15s won 4-0, the U-16s won 5-0, and the U-19s won 5-0.
U-14s earn back-to-back shutouts
The U-14s opened the weekend with a 1-0 win over Hoosier Premier as Vedad Kovac scored the lone goal. Ryan Ramsey and Egnazzio Salia combined to earn the shutout. On Sunday, the U-14s picked up where they left off by winning 5-0 against Lou Fusz Athletic. Devon Coates scored a brace and Layne Meyer, Tucker Burns, and Michael Sacakli added goals. Brennen Meyer and Ryan Ramsey earned the shutout.
U-15s score four past Lou Fusz Athletic
The U-15s tied Hoosier Premier on Saturday afternoon but picked up a 4-0 win against Lou Fusz Athletic the following day. Blake Wilson scored a brace and Calen Conlon, and Drew Dowling notched goals. Goalkeepers Maddox Slezak and William Burkhart got the shutout.
U-16s tally nine goals over the weekend
After playing one game last weekend, the U-16 boys earned back-to-back wins. On Saturday, the team picked up a 4-1 win as the team got some help from two own goals and goals from Matteo Hayes and Kaden Donigan. The next day, the U-16s faced Lou Fusz Athletic and earned a 5-0 shutout as Jack Hennessy scored a brace and Alex Jundt, Brendan McCrory, and Jovanni Giffin notched goals. Maverick Scott picked up the shutout.
U-19s earn 5-0 victory against Lou Fusz Athletic
The U-19 boys kicked things off against Hoosier Premier playing to a 3-3 draw. Hudson Jacobs scored a brace, and Carson Locker added a goal. On Sunday, the team earned a 5-0 shutout over Lou Fusz Athletic as Edin Clark, Sammy Goldstein, Andel Ellis, Jacksen McNeal, and Stone Marion scored.
