CITY SC kicks off the 2024 season with two matches in a four-day span; St. Louis travels to Inter Miami on June 1
St. Louis CITY SC unveiled the club’s 34-match 2024 MLS Regular-Season schedule and the team will be welcoming back fans with a full week of activities, including “two” CITYPARK home openers in a span of four days. CITY SC’s Eastern Conference opponents features four new teams from 2023 and a road trip against Inter Miami on June 1.
“We are excited to finally know our calendar of matches for 2024 and learn when we’ll be welcoming back fans to CITYPARK”, said St Louis CITY SC President & General Manager Diego Gigliani. “2023 was an amazing inaugural year for the club, beating expectations on all levels, but as soon as the season ended, everyone at St Louis CITY SC – staff and players – immediately began looking forward to starting Year Two. We can’t wait to show the world again what this club and this city can do.”
St. Louis, 2023 MLS Western Conference Regular-Season Champions, kicks off the 2024 season with plenty of action, including a first home opener against Houston in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup Round One on Tuesday, February 20 and then follow up four days later with a second home opener against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, February 24 to start the 2024 MLS regular-season slate.
Member of the club’s myCITY+ program will have a chance to participate in a single match ticket pre-sale in late January and a limited number of single-match tickets will be available for purchase by the general public in early February.”
CITY SC’s MLS Schedule Highlights:
- 26 Saturday (12 home/14 away), 5 Wednesday (3 home/2 away), 3 Sunday (2 home/1 away)
- Both Sunday home matches will be day games: 3:30 pm CT vs Austin (April 14) & 1:30 pm CT vs. LA Galaxy (September 1)
- Remaining 15 home matches will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. CT
- Three national TV matches: Two on FOX, one on FS1
- Four new Eastern Conference foes: New York CITY FC (March 2), DC United (March 23), Atlanta (June 22), @New England (September 7)
- Decision Day features CITY SC traveling to Minnesota United on October 19
- Three matches land during FIFA windows: DC United (March 23), Portland (June 8) & New England (September 7)
- No road trip or homestand longer than two consecutive matches
- June is the busiest month with six matches in a 28-day window
- Like 2023, there will be three games vs. Sporting Kansas City: April 20 (at SKC), July 20 (at SKC), September 28 (at CITYPARK)
- Five home-and-home opponents are spaced within a 5-week window: Austin, Colorado, Minnesota, Real Salt Lake and Vancouver
- CITY SC plays Vancouver twice in a two-week span
