As its season-opening match versus Colorado Rapids on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Energizer Park draws near, St. Louis CITY SC invites fans of all ages to get the Season Three party started at the club’s free season kickoff event, CITY Live, on Sunday, Feb. 16 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at The Factory (17105 N Outer 40 Rd., Chesterfield, MO 63005).
CITY Live, emceed by St. Louisan, former MLS MVP and U.S. Men’s National Team player and current MLS Season Pass Match and Studio Analyst Taylor Twellman, celebrates the start of CITY SC’s 2025 campaign with a jam-packed program. Fans will be able to welcome new Head Coach Olof Mellberg to St. Louis and hear from the new gaffer, and see the entire first team take the stage with remarks from Captain Roman Bürki and more. CITY Live will also feature a special tribute to St. Louis soccer history as Twellman and surprise guests, St. Louis soccer legends, will chat live about how the beautiful game has been so important to this city for more than 100 years.
Additional special guests will include CITY SC CEO Carolyn Kindle, President & GM Diego Gigliani and Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel. Steve Ewing, lead singer of the alternative rock band The Urge, will bring down the house with a live performance for the program’s finale.
CITY SC will also celebrate its new primary kit, which will be available for purchase at the event. Food and beverage will also be available for purchase and fans will be able to enjoy partner activations.
“We invite our fans to pack The Factory and really give a warm welcome to Coach Mellberg, show support for our players as they embark on the 2025 season, and honor our city’s soccer heritage and legendary local soccer legends,” said St. Louis CITY SC’s CEO Carolyn Kindle. “This is going to be an ultimate afternoon of celebration where we tip our hats to St. Louis soccer history while celebrating what’s ahead for our club.”
