Pappyās Smokehouse, Damn Fine Hand Pies, Bolyardās and Chicken Scratch join Energizer Parkās 100% local food program, CITY Flavor
In-stadium dining experience continues to evolve, as does CITY SCās support of the local restaurant community
St. Louis CITY SC is continuing to elevate the fan experience at its world-class venue, Energizer Park, by adding four new restaurants to the clubās 100% local CITY Flavor initiative. Beginning with CITY SCās first match of the 2025 season on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Energizer Park, fans will be able to taste the unique flavors of Pappyās Smokehouse, Damn Fine Hand Pies, Bolyardās and Chicken Scratch.
āOur local food program underpinned by consumer-friendly technology has changed the game in professional sports venues,ā said Matt Sebek, St. Louis CITY SCās Chief Experience Officer. āLast season, our Top 10 performing stands were operated by local restaurants, 23% of orders came through the CITY mobile app and over 60% of sales happened before kick ā showing that our fans love arriving early to support STLMade restaurants. Our latest additions will make season three at Energizer Park even more delicious.ā
Last season, over $2.5M went to local restaurants inside Energizer Park through the CITY Flavor program curated by the club and James Beard Award-winning Chef Gerard Craft (a semifinalist for the 2025 James Beard Awards), who returns as Energizer Parkās Chief Flavor Officer. Craft helped handpick the new partners, whose menu offerings include a pork panini from Bolyardās, a pulled rotisserie chicken sandwich from Chicken Scratch, buffalo chicken dip hand pie from Damn Fine Hand Pies, and a burnt ends sandwich from Pappyās.
In addition to the new local restaurants, CITY SC is also introducing new dedicated, under $10 food stands, which will serve family-friendly matchday menu items at affordable prices.
CITY has also evolved its technology footprint to double down on speed and loyalty. 100% of food, beverage and merchandise vendors across Energizer Park will now accept CITY Pay through the popular STL CITY SC app. Fans who use CITY Pay on food and merchandise purchases in the stadium will receive 5% cashback, adding extra value to every purchase. myCITY+ loyalty members will earn 10% cashback. To increase speed of service, CITY SC has also added an additional walkout market in the stadiumās southwest corner. The four total dedicated walkout markets are the most in a Major League Soccer venue.
