Club celebrating fans and record-breaking, historic inaugural season with the free CITY Block Party, a two-day event on Lou Fusz Plaza
General Admission tickets for CITY Block Party’s Friday event are now available to claim at no cost (limited quantities available)
CITY Block Party also features performances by The Scarlet Opera and local DJ Stazi (Friday) and local band Hazmat (Saturday)
In celebration of their fans and their record-breaking, historic inaugural season, St. Louis CITY SC will host a free, two-day CITY Block Party Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21 on Lou Fusz Plaza, ahead of the club’s final regular season home match versus Seattle Sounders FC. Pop singer-songwriter Ava Max will headline CITY Block Party’s Friday event with rock band The Scarlet Opera and local DJ Stazi opening the festivities that evening. St. Louis alt-rock band Hazmat will lead Saturday’s block party ahead of match kickoff.
General admission tickets for CITY Block Party’s Friday, October 20 event are free to claim for all ages on a first-come-first-serve basis (limited quantities available). Attendees can now claim their ticket, up to two per person, at www.seatgeek.com or via the SeatGeek or STL CITY SC apps. Tickets to the October 21st match are not included. (Tickets are not required for CITY Block Party festivities on Saturday, October 21.)
“Throughout this record-breaking season, our CITY Block Parties have united the region through soccer and music, bringing nationally known artists such as Metro Boomin and Ava Max to CITYPARK and shining a spotlight on our talented local music scene,” said Matt Sebek, St. Louis CITY SC’s Chief Experience Officer. “We are excited to kick off the festivities around our final regular season home match and welcome sports fans and music lovers to CITYPARK for what will sure be an unforgettable CITY Block Party.”
St. Louis CITY SC’s inaugural season is highlighted by numerous successes both on and off the pitch – from setting records for season ticket deposits and merchandise sales, to selling out every home match, as well as being the first MLS expansion team to start the season 5-0-0 and the quickest expansion team in MLS history to record 25 points, doing so in 13 games. St. Louis CITY SC became the first club to clinch a postseason berth in the Western Conference, becoming just the third expansion team (excluding the shootout era) to produce at least 50 points and make the playoffs in their inaugural MLS season.
Throughout the 2023 season, the CITY Block Parties have provided fans opportunities to gather together on CITYPARK’s stadium campus in Downtown West to celebrate soccer, music, food and culture.
