ARLINGTON, TX (July 27, 2024) - St Louis CITY2 falls to North Texas SC at Choctaw Stadium. North Texas opened the game with a goal in the 13th minute but CITY2 responded with a goal from Oscar Benitez. The goal was Benitez’ first for CITY2 and his first career MLS NEXT Pro goal. Texas went on to score the game winner in the second half to take the three points. St Louis will return home to CITYPARK on Friday, August 2nd for the first meeting of the season against Ventura County FC.
