CITY SC doubled its advantage just before halftime, with Hosei Kijima netting his first MLS goal off a set piece delivery from Vassilev. The win marked St. Louis’ fourth win and fifth clean sheet at CITYPARK this season. CITY SC will head to Denver on Sunday for the second meeting of the season against Colorado Rapids.
