St. Louis CITY SC fell 3-0 to Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Wednesday, October 5, at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada. The teams played to a scoreless draw in the first half, but then Whitecaps forward Brian White put the home side ahead in the 58th minute. As the half progressed, midfielders Sebastian Berhalter and Richie Laryea each put in a goal to increase Vancouver’s advantage and secure three points for the hosts.
Lundt Makes MLS Starting Debut
Goalkeeper Ben Lundt started the first MLS game of his career, recording four saves on the night. It was his fourth appearance for CITY SC across all competitions this season, with Lundt having started the team’s Leagues Cup match against Columbus Crew and Open Cup matches against Union Omaha and Chicago Fire FC.
