St. Louis CITY SC will play their final regular season match this Saturday against Minnesota United at Allianz Field. For Decision Day, all western conference matches will commence at 8:00 p.m. CT and will be streamed live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Fans can also tune in to St. Louis’ match via radio on KYKY 98.1 FM (English) and on KXOK 102.9 FM (Spanish).

Minnesota United and St. Louis have faced each other three times with the away team managing to win on the road in each match. Minnesota leads the series with a 2-1-0 record after earning a victory at CITYPARK earlier this season. Cedric Teuchert scored CITY SC’s only goal in the loss.

When the two teams met at Allianz Field last season, CITY SC earned a 2-1 win with Klauss and Njabulo Blom tallying a goal in the match. Jake Nerwinski and Aziel Jackson both earned an assist on the night.

Of the current St. Louis roster, Nerwinski has faced Minnesota United the most times in his career (13 appearances). Simon Becher and Indiana Vassilev each have two career goals against Minnesota.

In CITY SC’s last regular season match, Nerwinski netted his first CITY SC goal along with Becher who scored a brace in a 3-0 shut out against Houston Dynamo. With Nerwinski’s goal, CITY SC became the first club in MLS history to have 20 different goal scorers in a single MLS regular season. The win was CITY SC’s 25th victory in MLS regular season play since joining the league in 2023. Roman Bürki also picked up his 15th clean sheet of his MLS career.

Marcel Hartel earned two assists while Teuchert also tallied his fourth helper of the season. Hartel, Teuchert and Becher have combined for 17 goals and 11 assists in the last 12 matches. St. Louis has a 6-3-3 record in that span.

St. Louis earned its first away win of the season against San Jose Earthquakes earlier in the year. In 33 matches this season, CITY SC has an 8-12-13 record and scored 49 goals with 26 of those goals accounted for on the road.

The Loons have already secured their spot in the MLS Playoffs but will be looking to solidify their eighth place in the standings to avoid playing in the Wild Card Round. Under first year head coach Eric Ramsay, Minnesota has posted a 14-12-7 record with a plus-six goal differential. The Loons are still looking for their first home win against St. Louis.
