BLAINE, MN - St. Louis CITY2 earned a 3-2 win over Minnesota United FC 2 on Sunday afternoon at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota. Mykhi Joyner slotted home a penalty in the 23rd minute to give CITY2 the lead before scoring his second five minutes later off feeds from Emil Jääskeläinen and Miguel Perez. Minnesota responded with two goals of their own, but Perez scored the late winner to give CITY2 the three points on the day. CITY2 will be back in action at home next Friday, May 23 to take on Portland Timbers II.
