St. Louis CITY SC and BJC Team Up on CITYPARK Stadium District Race
CITY Sprint Kicks Off Sunday, September 17 at 1:30 p.m.
The 32-acre, world-class CITYPARK stadium district will be the backdrop for CITY Sprint, a new 1-mile race and fun run for all ages and skill levels on Sunday, September 17. The race, which highlights the largest urban professional sports campus in the U.S., is presented by St. Louis CITY SC and Founding Partner BJC HealthCare.
CITY Sprint will lead into St. Louis CITY2’s final home game of the regular season versus Galaxy II at 5:00 p.m. All CITY Sprint participants will receive a free ticket to that evening’s match.
"CITY Sprint is an exciting new event for all ages and a way for families to enjoy the brand-new CITYPARK with a walk or run through our stadium campus,” said Matt Sebek, St. Louis CITY SC’s Chief Experience Officer. “Join us and BJC for an afternoon focused on community health and fitness and stay afterwards to help us mark the end of CITY2’s 2023 season.”
"CITY Sprint is a phenomenal example of how we bring BJC's mission to life – it's an opportunity for people to get outside and improve their physical health, enjoy time with friends and family and support our community," said Riham El-Lakany, BJC's Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. "The people of St. Louis deserve spaces and events like this, and we’re proud to support this effort."
